Longer than traditional Skagit or Scandi systems, the Greased Line 40+ is still compact enough to cast and fish comfortably with versatile Spey rods from 12.5 ft (3.80 m). It’s an excellent option for anglers looking to move to longer, fully floating heads without investing in a long rod designed specifically for Long Belly lines.
Paired with a monofilament leader or VersiLeader, its pronounced rear taper and fine tip strike an excellent balance between delicate presentation and effectiveness. The extra head length provides greater reach and improves line control during the drift and swing.
